SUMMER RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY 2024
Spend summer 2024 conducting research in one of the most biologically diverse forests on the planet!
For 2021-2024, Lewis & Clark College and the Yale University Tropical Resource Institute will lead an intensive 9-week summer research experience for both undergraduate and graduate students in the lowland rain forest of Yasuni National Park, Ecuador. Students will spend the first 2 weeks in cultural and language training at the Amauta Spanish School, Cuenca, following by 7 weeks research in Yasuni Scientific Research Station.

- RESEARCH - Spend summer 2024 carrying out ecological research in the Amazon rain forests of Yasuni National Park, Ecuador, one of the most biologically diverse forests on the planet.
- MENTORING - Training and mentoring in scientific skills, including experimental design, data collection, statistical analysis,
writing papers, presenting research, and careers. - CULTURE - Experience Ecuadorian culture, Spanish-language training in Cuenca, and collaboration and interaction with Ecuadorian scientists and researchers.
- FULLY FUNDED - All accommodation, travel, cultural activities, and language training are fully covered. In addition, a 9-week stipend is provided.
